Appendicitis Epidemic

Two people at work here have come down with acute appendicitis within days of each other.

Coincidence? Or contagion?

If I get a tummy ache in the next week or so, I'm going to be awfully paranoid.

Well, especially since the first guy's appendix ruptured before the doctors got to it. He'll still be recovering in the hospital over the weekend, whereas the second guy might be able to go home tonight.
