Feeling threatened, take 2

I will admit that I'm somewhat alarmed that some schools in my son's district are under lockdown. DS1's school is not affected, fortunately. But it's one of those things that you hear about that you hope never happens to you.

I'm going try to put in a positive light and be glad that school officials are being proactive and being overly cautious rather than see any real threat to my kids, because I don't want to live in despair.

Well, except for the job prospects, that is.
