Bottlefeeding rant
Anyone who thinks that bottle-feeding is more convenient than breast-feeding is seriously misguided.
We went out last night, and I had to pack bottles for the baby for the first time that I can remember! What a pain! Before, all I needed was the diaper bag!
Had to get up at 2am and again at 5:30am to warm up a bottle for DS2, whereas normally I'd roll over, pull him close, and let him nurse as we both fell back asleep. To make it worse, I couldn't fall back asleep for over an hour after the 2am feeding. So I could really use a nap this morning.
To make it doubly worse, I'm still pumping milk to keep up my supply, and then have to pour it all down the drain because it's unsafe for my baby. But I still flinch as I do it... all that precious fluid!
Edited because I forgot to mention what a royal pain in the @$$ keeping around enough clean bottles and nipples is!
At least it's all for a good cause, at least that's what I keep telling myself.
