My code appears to be working! Woo-hoo!!

(Why is my emotional state so tightly coupled to the state of my code? I've been grumpy all day because my code wasn't working right, but now that I fixed the problem, I'm really happy. Gotta get less emotionally invested in my work I guess...)

Good days at work always make me really happy. And usually work going well translates into the rest of my life going well. Fortunately, while the positive feedback is strongly linked for me, the negative feedback seems much less so (eg, work going badly doesn't make my life suck. Which, given that I'm in grad school, is a good thing)
