I'm not gonna die!
Met with my oncologist today to go over my blood test results and see how the chemo is going.
My side effects are still pretty minimal. Still having bleeding, though.
My liver and kidneys are tolerating the medication just fine.
The best news is that my beta-HCG has dropped from from 15,000-ish to 2,655, which means that the tumor is shrinking. Yay! So I go back again on Wednesday to begin Round 2 of treatment.
My fears that DS2 would forget how to nurse were completely unfounded. He went right back to nursing as if he never stopped, and seemed almost grateful to be getting the Real Thing again. I'm just hoping that my milk supply will go back up to his demands.
All in all, things are going pretty well. Just keep swimming, just keep swimming...
