The joys of house-hunting

We all flew down to Maryland yesterday for another round of house-hunting -- our realtor told us she found the perfect house for us. And it is a nice house -- 4 BR, 2.5 BA, nice kitchen with new corian counters, workshop for Bob to putter around in, a koi pond in the backyard, and a backyard that opens onto parkland. So we're going to try to get it. We do also have a second choice that also backs to parkland, but needs more work to get it into a condition we'd like, but also has many more children in the neighborhood. So we'll see. We've been thwarted in our attempts to get other houses, so here's hoping we can get one or the other.
