Round One Status Update
Jul. 14th, 2004 10:56 amGot the last injection for this round of treatment this morning. Didn't have to get blood drawn, which was a bit of a relief.
They've been monitoring my beta-HCG levels, since they indicate the size of the tumor. The numbers have not gone up, anyway, which is good. My oncologist wants to see the numbers drop by a factor of two by next week, or else she's going to change my medication and treatment schedule.
Anyway, I get a two-week rest from chemo for now. I'll be allowed to breastfeed again by next week!
So I feel like this is just another place-holder entry. Don't really know anything yet. Nothing Earth-shattering to report. Same old, same old...
