Been having sleep issues lately, where I go around feeling like I need a nap all day, only to discover that when I actually do go to bed, I can't sleep, so I lie there for an hour or more feeling exhausted, and yet unable to fall asleep.
Last night, I actually fell asleep pretty quickly, only I had weird, and sometimes violent, dreams all night. I managed to drag myself out of bed at 8 this morning, and found that DS1 felt about the same as me: completely unwilling to wake up. So I let him stay in bed a while longer on the condition that I dress him first. Somehow we even made it to daycare earlier than usual, even though we're often late when I get up at 7:30. Guess that's what happens when you skip things like breakfast in your morning routine...
