Uni-tasking
Oct. 18th, 2004 10:57 amI wish I were able to multitask better.
I need to install this software, and I also need to work on modifying this code. These tasks are fairly independent. But somehow I can't get my brain to think about the code-modifying problem while compiling and installing the software, even though it involves long periods of waiting. Somehow the screen-full of text is too mesmerizing to pull away from, or I think that the compiling won't take long enough for me to start something new, or it's too hard to think about the coding I need to do.
So instead, I'm writing in my LJ. I am so lame.
