I tried to go for a run this morning, but just as I was getting wawrmed up, I caught my foot in a bit of loose pavement and took a spectacular fall. I dragged myself over to the curb and took a minute to catch my breath and assess damage, decided that discretion was the better part of valor, and walked back home.
My left ankle is sore, but not sprained.
My right knee is a skinned mess.
The road chewed up the outside of my right hand, and I think I may have a hairline fracture in the ring finger. I've taped it to the middle finger, which helps some, but typing is painful.
Taking care of two small children is extra challenging when one is down half a hand.
