What I'm doing between trips to Boston

The kids are at my in-laws for the week. We seem to be spending our extra time getting errands done. We have planned a hot date Thursday night, though.

It will have been two weeks that I'm away from my kids, what with my conference last week and their trip this week. The kids were given a choice: leave Sunday and catch up with mom before they left, or leave Saturday and spend an extra day with grandma and grandpa. I didn't stand a chance. I got back from my conference late last Saturday to an empty house.

I've been sleeping in late every morning this week so far. I should be getting up at the usual time (7:30am) and use the time to go jogging, but I can't escape the gravitational pull of the bed until about 8:30. Such a sloth I am.

We're going to pick up the kids this weekend and spend the next week vacationing in Vermont and Boston. Stay tuned for further updates.
