I've been needing new grown-up clothing, so a couple weeks ago, I bought a suit at Macy's: priced at $200, but on sale for half off! Only problem was, the pants were about 4 inches too long. A casual perusal of signage in the store indicated that it would be about $15 for them to tailor it for me, another $10 for the lining.

So I ended up spending a couple of hours last night hemming the pants myself, largely because I'm a cheapskate. No, it wasn't particularly hard, it just took a good couple of hours to get through it.
