So.... they took away your ability to poke the bailiff's eyes out, but now you can look up the defendants on the internet while you wait?

Well, I think they only let you use the internet while you're waiting to be selected for a trial. Once you enter a courtroom, you can't. But since they probably want you to pay attention once jury selection begins, they probably would frown on the knitting then, too.

But really the solution is to bring bamboo needles next time.
