Let's say I'm going to be in Boston this weekend. Suppose I decide to go have dim sum Sunday morning. Who would come? Where would we go? What time?

Discuss.

If you go to the place that isn't in Boston (??Woburn??) -- there's an outside chance that we could make it. (We will be coming back from NY state on Sat eve.)

I've heard rumors of this place in Woburn. Where exactly is it? I'll have a rental car, so getting there wouldn't be an issue for me, but I worry that it would discourage the car-less from coming.

The same exit off of 95 as the Fabric Place. (I don't remember off the top of my head).

We've had good turn outs there in the past, so I wouldn't worry too much about the car-less...

The place in Woburn

The China Pearl, 228 Mishawaum Road, Woburn, MA.

Decent food, never been there for dim sum though, but I'd be up for trying it out.

I would come! Any place, any time (within reason). Even if it does make my weekend even crazier than it already is...

I would come, if I could make it back to Davis by 1:00.

I am not a dim sum expert, but the usual places I know of are Chau Chow City and China Pearl, in Chinatown. I am not among those who have a strong preference for one over the other.

I would come, though like [livejournal.com profile] desireearmfeldt I may need to be back in Davis early afternoon (2ish for me).

I'm not sure where would be good for dim sum--there are always the old standbys of Chau Chow City, China Pearl, and Emperor's Garden--but the place in Woburn sounds intriguing. I've also had decent dim sum in Yangtze River in Lexington Center.

I'd come! Minor preference for Not China Pearl, just because I had dim sum there yesterday.

I would come. I'd be willing to trek out to Woburn and offer a few rides if it meant [livejournal.com profile] remcat could make it, but if everything else were equal I'd prefer the subway to driving.

Ditto (though I'd have to think about the timing of the driving plan as well).
