Busy

HST proposals are due two weeks from tomorrow. I plan to PI two proposals. This is making me a bit anxious.

Also, my in-laws are arriving sometime next week.
Also, Blue and Gold dinner for DS1's cub scout pack is Sunday night.
Also, I'm hoping to meet up with a friend from Hawai`i when she breezes through town Monday and Tuesday.
Also, classroom observation and in-class birthday party for DS2 are Tuesday.
Also, I'm going to a Congressional hearing on Thursday.
Also, parent-teacher conference at DS2's school is next Friday.
Also, DS2's birthday party is next Saturday.

None of this includes usual items like talks to go to and group meetings and karate practices and the like. And I know I've left some things out.

I think I will go hide under a rock after my proposals are turned in.


EDIT: Also, DH keeps bugging me about our bathroom, which is currently under construction.

Diversity and Innovation in STEM (Science Technology Engineering Mathematics) as a representative from Astronomy & Astrophysics. What exactly I'm supposed to be doing there is beyond me, no one has told me anything beyond "show up." A tad frustrating.

Nah, I'd end up deciding that I should make at least a *little* something anyway, and that would end up being enough for a full meal anyway. :)

You could upgrade to a side dish instead of appetizer, maybe?
