1. Defended my PhD thesis less than 3 months after giving birth

2. Had two kids in grad school

3. Married the only person I ever dated

4. Was concertmistress of a high school string orchestra with no cellos

5. Went on a 4-week tour of South America with a women's choir

6. Won a state math competition. Twice.

7. Learned to ski in Aspen

9. Backed into a sign during my driving exam

10. Was diagnosed, treated, and cured of cancer within 6 months
