Errands

I got nothing done today.

Okay, that's not strictly true. I never showed up at my office or did any work, but I did:

• get an oil change
  
• pick up a few groceries
  
• see a primary care physician for the first time since moving here four years ago
  
• got an X-ray done based on that doctor's visit
  
• attend a parent-teacher conference
  

and by the time I was done with all that, it was 4pm, and I came home feeling unusually exhausted and took a two-hour nap. Tomorrow is technically a holiday, but I don't think I get the day off, so back to the grindstone I go.
