My code appears to be working! Woo-hoo!!

(Why is my emotional state so tightly coupled to the state of my code? I've been grumpy all day because my code wasn't working right, but now that I fixed the problem, I'm really happy. Gotta get less emotionally invested in my work I guess...)

Connecting your emotions to code is a bad idea. Especially if you didn't write every last little bit of it. Trust me.

But I did write every last bit of this particular code. Maybe that's why I get so wrapped up in it -- the flaws in my code reveal my own inadequacies. Or something.
